Scrabble Score Keeper

A Scrabble® score pad for your phone, tablet, or desktop computer

This Scrabble Score Keeper is an easy way to keep score using your phone or tablet in place of a pencil and paper.

Open the Scorekeeper

The Scrabble Score Keeper is always as close as your phone or tablet. Bookmark it, or add it to your home screen and it's just one tap away.

Games and scores are saved locally by the browser. Use the same device and browser if you want to see all your games in one place.

On many browsers there is an Add to Home Page option. Use it to add the Scrabble Score Keeper as an icon on the screen of your phone or tablet.

Starting a New Game

After you each choose a tile to determine the first player, click Start a Game and enter the names of the players. If you've played a game before, player names will appear at the top. Just touch the player name to add that player.

Scrabble Notes

Here are a few notes and useful links for Scrabble® players.

If you want to see if a word is legal, here is an "official" Scrabble® word finder and checker from Merriam-Webster. The site has lots of other information and tools for Scrabble players.

Another interesting and useful site for Scrabble players is wordplays.com. When you type in a word, their Scrabble dictionary shows if it is valid or not in ten different word lists, including SOWPODS and U.S. English dictionaries, as well as a few foreign language dictionaries.

There are a lot of obscure two letter words that can be used in Scrabble. Knowing what they are can really improve your score. Here's a nice list of two-letter words that are generally accepted in the game. One nice thing about this list is that you can click the word to see the definition.

In case you have any questions about how to play properly, here's a link to the official rules for Scrabble® from Hasbro (sorry, it's a PDF file).
